The Department of Transportation says it plans to fix potholes in one Riverdale neighborhood following a News 12 report.

The potholes were on West 24th.

The DOT released the following statement:

“We repair thousands of potholes in the Bronx each year and make these repairs swiftly—within two days of a complaint, on average—to keep our roads safe and smooth for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. NYC DOT will be sending crews out to this location for pothole filling in the coming days."

News 12 reached out after several residents said that the potholes have been making their everyday lives miserable.
