Police have identified 56-year-old Kenneth Dantzler, a homeless man, as the victim in a fatal stabbing in Crown Heights early Monday morning.

The NYPD says a man in his 50's walked into the 77th Precinct just after 3 a.m. with his hands covered in blood and told officers he might have killed someone.

The man's confession led officers to Troy Avenue and Park Place, where police discovered Dantzler with stab wounds all over his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released charges in the case.
