A house in Jackson has anything but your average Halloween display.
The politically motivated decorations have made their way to TikTok, where they've been met with criticism. Locally, neighbors have mixed reviews.
Among the new decorations this year are an ICE vehicle with skeleton agents and Kristi Noem, Alligator Alcatraz - with people in captivity and/or being hung - and then the recurring hanging bloody babies and skeletons.
The Jackson homeowners say it's all about freedom of speech, and they've been doing similar political decorations for years.
"Unfortunately, I have to worry about what people are trying to do to us now," said homeowner Joe, who wished not to identify himself." This year has gone a little crazy, and we're going to defend ourselves. This is our first amendment, it's our right."
Joe said some people are taking it the wrong way.
"We're having fun with it, and if people don't like it, oh well," he said.
Neighbor Jo, who wished not to go on camera, called the display a "mess" and "distasteful."
"There's better ways of venting your freedom of speech, you don't have to put it out there like that," said Jo. "Like other people say, they have kids."
"They've been trying to take it down," said homeowner Joe. "I got people calling every day trying to take our stuff down."
Donna on the street thinks the decorations are "humorous."
"Too many people are afraid to be opinionated, so he gives his opinion," said Donna.
Joe said if people don't like it, they should just drive by.
Cameras have been added to the Jackson property for their safety.
