Overnight fire guts 3-story home in East Orange, no injuries reported

East Orange and Irvington crews worked swiftly to put out the fire at the three-story home by 4 a.m.

A house caught fire in East Orange overnight.
Crews responded to reports of a fire located at 140 South Munn Ave. early Friday morning.
East Orange and Irvington crews worked swiftly to put out the fire at the three-story home by 4 a.m.
There was significant damage to the exterior of the home. All windows were opened with the glass kicked out, and the roof and vinyl were ruined by soot.
No injuries have been reported at this time. The American Red Cross says that 13 people and 3 families are displaced from the fire.
