And we made it to Friday, so it's time for Main Street, Connecticut, a chance to showcase all of our towns and cities and what they have to offer. This week we're in Milford, News 12 Connecticut's Mark Sudall is at Fowler Field to preview the Milford Oyster Fest, a tradition in town, Mark. Oh, Becky, you know it. It is a fantastic tradition celebrated 50 years last year. Talk about a tradition. Joining me this morning is Isla Tocars. You're in charge here, you might as well say as part of the committee here with Jay Pinto I know over the years. So tell us, you got a few things that are different this year. What's different this year? So this year we still kick off tonight at 5 o'clock. Folks knew it as Oyster Eve. It's now Oyster Festival after dark. It's all good. We'll start from 5 to 10. We've got some great bands coming up tonight. Backstage Pass. They'll play till 10 o'clock. We've got food, oysters, all the traditional fun, children's rides going on. Tomorrow is what's different. Our rides will start at noon tomorrow. Our festival will start at 5 o'clock, so we were always during the day all around downtown, but we are now again. Fowler Field, it's kind of a copy of Friday with again another great selection of bands. We'll have Philadelphia Freedom opening up for Almost Queen. All of our food trucks from the plate in Milford, Southern Wings and Things. Milford Elks will be here serving up their lobster rolls and hot dogs. We'll have beer and wine, all sorts of fun festivities tonight. It's an $8 charge both nights. We want everyone to come down and have some fun. Saturday during the day there will be other stuff going up on the green, so we hope everyone will come down and enjoy a great time. So now what about the parking? So parking anywhere downtown, public parking. The new garage has opened up over there by River Street. I recommend everyone take the train. Drops you right in Milford Center. It's maybe a 5 minute walk here, much easier. So you go to West Haven or Stratford, makes your life easy. And of course it's all about the oysters and they're local oysters, Milford harvested oysters. We work with briar patch and they harvest them right off the Milford shore, so we bring everything home and you got a lot of folks are going to be shucking those oysters. We've got, I think there's about 10 shuckers that will be here each night helping everyone enjoy their oysters. It's all good. And then like I said, we'll have all of our food trucks and lobster rolls to chicken sandwiches and burgers, dogs, you name it, we got it. I'm getting hungry now. I'll tell you that. Kettle corn. Keep it going. I should mention too, yes, fair on the half shell. That's what's. Also going on on the Milford Green and that's during the day tomorrow. So a lot of moving parts we're gonna have more for you coming up in our next hour. Yeah, but $8 to get in. Mark, that's a good price. All right, thanks. I look forward to it.
