It's day 8 of water-related issues in Paterson, Haledon, North Haledon and Prospect Park.
Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh says it may be another three to four days before all repairs are completed. However, all customers in Paterson should have some water service at this time.
The Passaic Valley Water Commission says it has successfully repressurized a 24-inch line in relation to the 30-inch line that ruptured.
Haledon Mayor Michael Johnson has now declared a water emergency, banning any outdoor water use. He says it's because they need to make sure the pipes hold when they refill the lines.
The boil water advisory remains in place.
