A fire broke out overnight at a home on Harding Avenue in Throggs Neck. There was an intense scene at 2903 Harding Ave. between Hollywood Avenue and East Tremont Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. as the FDNY responded to a fire call. Ladders were stretched to the home on Harding Avenue as firefighters worked quickly to battle the blaze that escalated to a second-alarm fire. Dozens of firefighters were seen on the street helping put out those flames that were brought under control an hour later. One person was reported to have minor injuries. It's unclear what caused the fire at this time.
