        Officials: Car stolen from Stratford gas station with 3-year-old inside

        After the car was taken, the suspect dropped of the child at Station 10 firehouse in Bridgeport.

        A car was stolen from a gas station in Stratford with a 3-year-old in the backseat, Bridgeport police say.
        After the car was taken, the suspect dropped of the child at Station 10 firehouse in Bridgeport.
        The suspect then led Stratford and Bridgeport police, along with state police, on a pursuit on Route 8 and I-95, according to authorities.
        Police say the suspect got off of I-95 southbound at Exit 25 and got into an accident.
        They then got out of the car and ran away.
        The suspect was arrested by Bridgeport police.
        It's not clear if the suspect is related to the child.
        Police did not provide an update on the child's condition.
