27m agoA 5-year-old child drowned in a backyard pool in Paterson on Saturday night, according to prosecutors.
Officials say family members found the child unresponsive around 10 p.m. at a home near Marshall and Mary streets.
The child was pronounced dead at the hospital.
It was not immediately clear how the child got into the pool.
