        NYPD cruiser T-bones car; car crashes into school bus

        The chain reaction collision happened on East 187th and Hoffman streets around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

        An NYPD cruiser with emergency lights activated T-boned a white BMW, which caused the car to hit a school bus.
        The chain reaction collision happened on East 187th and Hoffman streets around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
        Surveillance video shows the police car traveling down East 187th Street with its emergency lights on, and as it crossed through the intersection, the police cruiser collided with a white BMW.
        According to the video, the BMW had a green light but did not slow down for the emergency sirens.
        Two school buses were stopped at the red traffic light on East 187th Street when one of them was hit by the BMW.
        According to the NYPD, all three of the drivers are OK, and nobody was severely injured. The investigation remains ongoing.
