4h agoA 21-year-old girl in Soundview is recovering after police said she was attacked and robbed on Feb. 10.
According to police, two women approached the 21-year-old victim, around 9 p.m., at the intersection of Elder Avenue and Watson Avenue.
Police said they engaged in a verbal argument that quickly turned violent.
Investigators said a man then approached the victim from behind. He punched her in the head, knocking her to the ground.
They said the group of attackers kick her repeatedly before taking her phone and running off.
The NYPD is now asking for the public's help to catch the three individuals.
