A new high-rise in Gowanus is set to open later this year with affordable housing options.
The Quinlan Development Group says the new 17-story building, located at 380 4th Ave. is expected to have retail spaces and 197 apartments. A total of 50 of them are reserved for affordable housing.
In the city, affordable housing is based on a person's area median income. It's determined by family size and annual income. The development group says apartments will be reserved for people who fall into the 40%, 60% and 90% range.
