The NYPD says three people were injured in a pedestrian crash at the intersection of Nostrand Avenue and Kings Highway on New Year's Eve.
Pollice say a 69-year-old man made a right hand turn onto Nostrand Avenue when he struck two older women and a 1-year-old.
Police tell News 12 the pedestrians were taken to Maimonides Hospital and are in stable condition.
People in the area say the collision was terrifying to watch back on video.
“I was shocked. I thought it was done intentionally,” one witness said after viewing video footage of the crash.
City data shows at least eight reported injuries at a nearby intersection since November.
“It’s very scary,” another resident shared. “If you drive safely, it will be safe.”
The driver remained on the scene and has not been charged.
