People traveling to today’s FIFA World Cup match in the Meadowlands have been arriving easily via NJ Transit, CEO Kris Kolluri said in a live interview with News 12.
Trains are running on schedule and are expected to move nearly 21,000 people to New York New Jersey Stadium by the end of service.
“I’m very pleased so far with how the service is working, how the ambassadors are doing, and how our crews are performing,” he said. “This is a good start.”
Trains will continue running up until kickoff, and ticket sales have been structured accordingly, he added.
Despite gridlock on Route 3, Kolluri said bus service has not experienced any issues transporting passengers to the stadium.
