The MTA says certain bus lines throughout the city will increase buses to shorten commutes and reduce wait times at bus stops.
In Brooklyn, those lines include the B17, B26, B74 and B103 lines.
News 12 spoke with commuters like Zakar Yasharahla who says the unreliable service impacts his work life.
“I’m late to my clients which is not a good look, I‘m late to work sometimes because of the MTA. It’s terrible, and they want us to spend $2.90 on what?" said Yasharahla.
Commuters like Jenai Dyer think the service enhancements will help.
“The extra buses will definitely help," said Dyer.
But people like Yasharahla are skeptical.
“I don’ think it’s gonna get better, it’s New York," said Yasharahla.
The MTA says the enhancements will go into effect on June 29.
