        WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Bitter cold weather will linger overnight into Sunday morning. Be sure to layer-up and prepare for a cold end to the weekend. Throughout the day, other than cold, skies will be mostly cloudy, and it will be dry during the day. Around dinner time the hours 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., a storm system is expected to bring snow showers in the evening through Sunday night. The snow will end before sunrise on Monday ahead of warming weather once more for Monday and much of next week. Expecting roughly half to 3 inches maximum of snowfall for the region. The snow would be shovel-able, however, it is likely by Monday morning, the snow would have melted for most of the region. Next week, plan for temperatures to be above normal for the first week of February. It will be dry through Wednesday, but Wednesday night there is a chance that an approaching storm system could bring a wintry mix initially, then transition to rainfall throughout Thursday. Prepare to bring out the raingear once more for Thursday. Once this system clears out, temperatures still remain milder than normal end, but dry heading into the weekend. FORECAST OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear, bitterly cold. Lows in the teens to the single digits. Wind chill values in the single digits to below 0.
