WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
The rest of Saturday is dry and chilly from the wind. Overnight temperatures are already very cold in the teens but will feel like in the single digits.
Sunday will be colder. Temperatures will be in the 30s. There will be a combination of clouds and sun with late evening precipitation moving through Western Connecticut. A widespread half to inch and a half is likely with North and Western parts of the area seeing a chance at 2 inches or more. The News 12 Storm Watch Team will continue to track this but it looks like it moves in during the evening and clears out in early parts of Monday (around 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.).
Monday is a sudden warm up with temperatures of up to 50 degrees. Temperatures will continue to have their ups and downs as the work week will circulate between the 40s and 30s.
