Man arrested for injuring bicyclist in South Brunswick hit-and-run

Prosecutors say 40-year-old Carlos Romero-Garcia struck the victim before driving away on Ridge Road.

The suspect wanted for a South Brunswick hit-and-run that injured a bicyclist on Sunday has been arrested, according to police.
Prosecutors say 40-year-old Carlos Romero-Garcia struck the victim before driving away on Ridge Road.
Officers followed and apprehended Romero-Garcia after noticing his car’s bumper was damaged and missing a side mirror.
Authorities say the 51-year-old bicyclist has since been released from the hospital and is OK.
