Judge Kimberly Massicotte ruled that Stew Leonard's workers were not liable for Orla Baxendale's death.
Baxendale had a severe peanut allergy and died after she ate Florentine Cookies in January 2024.
The cookies, sold at the grocery chain's Danbury and Newington locations, contained peanuts but they were not listed on the label.
The cookies were manufactured by Cookies United, a bakery on Long Island, but sold under Stew Leonard's brand.
