10h agoA man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for fatally shooting his wife in January of 2023, according to authorities.
Prosecutors say 41-year-old Lucas Cooper admitted to repeatedly shooting Temara King inside their apartment. King, 35, was a third-grade teacher at Public School 5 in Jersey City.
Her teenage daughter called to report her death to police. All three individuals were home at the time of the shooting.
