Nicer weather will return to the Bronx this Labor Day weekend, but it may not be completely dry the entire time. A few clouds and showers are now looking more likely later Saturday into early Sunday. In between, there will be sunshine and much lower humidity.

Saturday looks good to start with temperatures in the 60s and plenty of sunshine. Some clouds arrive in the afternoon with a high near 80 degrees. The wind will be generally north at 5 to 10 mph.

A few showers are expected Saturday night into Sunday morning as an area of lower pressure sits northeast of us offshore. It will be close enough to throw some showers back in our direction at times. Sunday will be the coolest day of the weekend, with onshore winds and highs in the 70s.

Labor Day is our pick of the week! Expect a refreshing start to the day and sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.

Rain chances go up starting Thursday next week.
