Temperatures will fall the next couple of nights back down into the lower and mid-40s in the borough. Frost is expected north and west of the city tonight and Saturday night.

The fall foliage is starting to pop across parts of the region, making it a perfect weekend for any leaf peeping or fall festivities.

Temperatures will recover nicely by Saturday afternoon with some lower 60s and light winds. They'll warm up even more for Sunday with highs approaching the mid-60s. Expect a brief warm-up to start the new work week. Temperatures on Monday may come close to 70 degrees. A cold front will cool things down again for Tuesday.

The dry stretch of weather will last into next week. Expect more classic sunny autumn days and chilly nights ahead. As of now, Halloween is looking dry, mild and breezy. Stay tuned for updates.
