WHAT TO KNOW
Monday night will be cool and mostly clear, with prime weather for heading to Knicks watch parties or to Madison Square Garden Rain will stay away until midweek as will intense heat.
Temperatures combined with humidity will make for suffocating levels of heat by Thursday. Temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s will feel dangerously hot. There is the chance to have a heatwave -- if three consecutive days this week are at 90 or above. Have a plan for how to stay cool and out of the heat.
Rain wise, There are shower and storm chances starting on Wednesday and continuing throughout the rest of the week. Until then, Tuesday will be summerlike and warm, with sun and clouds but dry.
