One of the largest festivals celebrating Italian culture will be held next month.
The 99th annual Hoboken Italian Festival will be held Sept 4. through Sept. 7 on Sinatra Drive between First and Third streets.
It will feature food, music, entertainment, games, vendors plus fireworks.
On Saturday, there will be a mass and a fest procession with the statue of Madonna.
"The festival has been here forever. We keep the tradition going in Hoboken, which is to bring the blessing mother out and carry her around the streets and keep that tradition going and hope for many more years to come," said Dan De Congelio, a festival board member.
This year, attendees also have a chance to win a free trip to Italy for two. Anyone who eats at a participating restaurant in the city can receive a raffle ticket.
