HEAT ALERT: Extreme heat returns, with feels-like temps of 100+ degrees  

Thunderstorms will try to break the heat Wednesday.

Heat advisory from 11 a.m. Monday until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The hot and humid weather will make temperatures feel like they are hotter than 100 degrees for Tuesday and Wednesday.
This will be the worst of the heat before it breaks later Wednesday with some thunderstorms.
Until Wednesday, the air will acquire a stagnant feel and the air quality will go down.
High temperatures will be in the 90s both days with tomorrow being the hottest at around 95-97 degrees.
The heat index will go as high as about 100-105 in our area.
Strong to severe thunderstorms are likely starting Wednesday afternoon and continuing through Thursday.
Temperatures on Thursday will start to drop and they will almost feel fall-like by later Friday.
Temperatures on Friday will drop back into the upper 70s.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny, hazy, hot and humid. High 95-97. Feels like 103.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny, evening showers and thunderstorms. High of 94.
THURSDAY: Partly sunny, with thunderstorms. High of 81.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny. High of 78.
SATURDAY: Sunny. High of 80.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 82.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 84.
