Justice for Families, a community organization, held an essential item distribution for victims of a five-alarm fire on Wallace Avenue.
They distributed clothing, toiletries and other essential items to dozens of people impacted by the fire.
"It's an opportunity that community members can sit down, have a meal, no chaos, and we're going to figure out how to how to support each other, how we can support you," said Jeannette Bocanegra, the executive director for Justice for Families.
It plans to hold more events for families like this in the future.
