A group of 12 engineering students are traveling from Lavras, Brazil to Norwalk to compete in one of the biggest international competitions in the world – the Norwalk Havoc Robot League.
They have racked up over 53 robotics titles, including a championship at the Robogames in California.
The TROIA team says their university cannot cover the costs, so they need help finding a place to stay.
They are seeking accommodation in Norwalk or nearby areas and are open to various types of housing options, including churches, schools, universities and basements.
Anyone interested in helping can contact the team by emailing troia.deg@ufla.br.
