Officials: Fire caves in roof of Roselle Park apartment; dozens displaced
yesterdayAndover Township Police Department and fire department responded to a fire on Newton-Sparta Road around 4 a.m.
Crews are investigating where the fire started in the three-business plaza. The flames went through the roof which then collapsed. No injuries were reported.
Eight fire departments responded by bringing in different resources. A 3,000 gallon drafting pool was used due to lack of fire hydrants in the area.
Detectives and county fire marshal are on the scene as they investigate a cause.
