A Kings Park man accused of driving while intoxicated was seriously injured by a crash Saturday in Saint James.
Police say Kody Whitton lost control of his vehicle, struck a utility pole and then hit a tree around 11:45 p.m. on North Country Road.
The 28-year-old was hospitalized for treatment. Authorities say he will be arraigned at a later date.
