A stabbing victim was found early this morning inside the lobby of a New Rochelle building, according to police.
The call came in around 6:30 a.m. at 12 Church Street, a newer building near Main Street and Church Street.
The victim was found in the lobby with wounds and taken to a hospital. A pair of bloody shoes could be seen in the middle of the street and there is also blood on the sidewalk.
Church Street is blocked is off in front of the building.
Officers said it is still early in the case, and the circumstances surrounding the stabbing are not yet known.
Several police cars were on the scene through the morning as investigators are working inside and outside the building.
No details were released on the victim’s condition.
