It's cold and will stay cold through the rest of the week.
By Friday, temperatures should finally rise above the freezing mark, which means any snow or ice that's on the ground will remain on the ground.
The winds will create colder wind chills in the next few days, and it will feel like the single digits waking up again tomorrow morning and then feel like the teens again during the daytime.
This pattern repeats all through the week.
The wind advisory in place is only for Northern Litchfield County through 10 p.m. Winds will remain out of the NW 15-25 mph with higher gusts, and wind gusts will approach 30-40 mph, strongest north.
There is a risk of a storm next weekend and with colder temperatures, there is the possibility of snow.
There is still a lot of uncertainty as to what this storm will look like when it gets to the East Coast.
Today, there is slightly more consensus that this won't be a huge storm but one that is a little more offshore.
Details such as how close it gets to us and the timing and amount of precipitation will get ironed out in the next two days.
