A city-owned parking lot in Boerum Hill is being turned into brand-new affordable housing for seniors.
The vacant parking lot on Third Avenue between Bergen and Wyckoff streets will soon become “third-act apartments.”
The city announced plans for a 100% affordable, rent-stabilized housing development with 68 units for seniors, including some who were formerly homeless.
The building will also feature community space, a rooftop farm and even a pharmacy, all designed with input from Boerum Hill residents.
