Church choirs across the state came together to celebrate Christmas with special Midnight Mass services.
At St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Norwalk, Choir Director Margaret Kelley led the musical celebrations.
Kelley, who has been singing in Midnight Mass services since she was a little girl, emphasized the importance of honoring the birth of Christ through special music and liturgy.
"The birth of Christ is one of the most important parts of our Catholic faith... we have to honor this in a very special way," Kelley said.
