The NYPD's Bronx Homicide Squad held a prayer vigil for infant twins who were found dead in an alleyway in 2020 on Friday.
The twin boys were never officially identified, but they were given the names Zane and Zeke by police as a way to memorialize them.
Zeke means God's strength and Zane means God's gift.
The NYPD holds the vigil yearly to keep the cold cases on the minds of the public.
"To the person who did this, we're open to a conversation. We're not here to judge, but we want to know what happened. And there's a lot of people that want answers," said Detective Brianna Constantino.
Police say there have been no arrests.
They encourage anyone with information to call the Crime Stoppers Tipline at 800-577-TIPS.
