        Wakefield tenant shares story of overcoming obstacles with help from Doe Fund

        Quadell Lomax has been living his dream at the affordable housing development for a month now.

        Quadell Lomax says he is happy to call "The Plains" on White Plains Road his home in Wakefield.
        "I always wanted my own place. My mom and me had a disagreement and she threw me out the house," he said.
        He's been living his dream at the affordable housing development for a month now.
        The Doe Fund celebrated the opening of "The Plains" in the Wakefield neighborhood.
        The fund gives 49 formerly homeless adults with health conditions services on site that will help them succeed.
