Connect-Us, a Bridgeport nonprofit, held a show called "Bridgeport Has a Dream" at the Klein Memorial Auditorium Monday.
"This is an amazing way for Bridgeport to celebrate MLK Day 2025," said Pam Lewis, founder and executive director of Connect-Us. "MLK has always been my hero and it's wonderful to bring 100 young people together to express our reverence and awe for Dr. King, who helped shape the Civil Rights Movement, and the America we call home today."
Lewis added, "there's a lot of work left to do, but this production - through music, dance, spoken word - is a great way for us to express our faith, and hope for the future, of this wonderful cause."
