Beautiful blue skies and breezy weather ruled election day weather.
It was a wonderful yet windy day as temperatures, despite the firm breeze warmed to the low 60 degrees.
The wind machine will briefly be turned off later tonight. Skies will remain clear, and the temperatures will tumble quickly to the upper 30 degrees and low 40 degrees.
Early sunshine on Wednesday will fade behind clouds as another quick-moving weather system drags some showers through the state on Wednesday night.
Behind the rain will be more wind and that wind will be bringing colder weather along with it. The chill sticks around throughout the weekend and the opportunity for passing showers is in the forecast for Saturday.
The 1st good shot of very chilly air moves in Sunday night into early next week.
