HEADLINES: Cold and frosty
A freeze warning is in effect for southern Nassau County overnight. Temperatures across the Island will be in the upper 20s and low 30s by morning with widespread frost. It will be a clear night with diminishing winds.
Expect sun and clouds for Thursday and Friday with dry weather and moderating temperatures by the weekend. Daytime highs will be in the 60s for a mild feel with more sunshine and dry weather in the forecast.
There's a few small chances for some rain ahead, but not enough to put a dent in our drought situation for the near future. Fire weather threats will continue with the lack of rainfall and extremely dry conditions.
