        The Coach Volpe Basketball Classic was held in Yonkers, featuring a matchup between Sacred Heart and Gorton high schools.
        This annual game is named after John Volpe, a coaching legend who spent nearly 50 years leading teams at both schools.
        Volpe accumulated over 500 victories, 14 Yonkers City championships, 8 Section I titles, and 2 Regional crowns .
        The game brought together grads from both schools, who came to show their support and appreciation for Coach Volpe's dedication and legacy. In the end, Sacred Heart emerged victorious, winning the game 78-49.
