Comic book enthusiasts united at the Yonkers Riverfront Library on Saturday for the highly anticipated Yonkers Comic Con.
The event featured a comic book symposium hosted by a Marvel Comics editor, who offered a behind-the-scenes look at the evolving comic book landscape. The convention also invited artists to submit their original superhero designs for the Hall of Heroes Exhibition.
Other highlights included live performances, a cosplay fashion show, Lego displays, local comic and art vendors, and a video game cave.
"We want to celebrate creators, original expression, and people who have an idea and want to express it," said Yonkers Comic Con founder Evan Bishop.
