A woman was slashed inside a senior living building in Bushwick, and her attacker was found dead on the sidewalk outside, police say.

Officers discovered the 53-year-old woman just after 12:30 p.m. Monday with slash wounds to her head and right arm inside Linden Grove Senior Residences, located at 223 Linden St.

Authorities say her attacker was found unconscious and unresponsive on the pavement outside the building with injuries indicative of falling from an “elevated position.” EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police could not confirm if he jumped from the building.

EMS took the woman to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where she is expected to recover.
