Suffolk County police have arrested a Setauket woman accused of fatally stabbing a man outside of a yacht club in Stony Brook earlier this month.

Kacy Corso, 33, is charged with one count of second-degree murder.

On Nov. 10, officials responded to the Stony Brook Yacht Club at 21 Shore Rd. just before 4 a.m. That's where officials said they found Christopher Millwater, 52, injured on the ground.

Millwater was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he died.

For the first time, police now say the Selden man was stabbed to death.

It's still unclear the relationship between Millwater and Corso or what led up to the fatal stabbing.

Days after the stabbing, the victim's sister spoke exclusively with News 12 and said Millwater recently beat cancer and added that the club was his favorite place to fish.

Corso is in police custody and is expected to face a judge for her arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip later this morning.
