West Babylon man arrested for possessing child pornography
A 24-year-old man has been arrested for possessing child pornography.
Suffolk County police say on Monday they arrested Mark Escorcia Jr. after executing a search warrant at his West Babylon home.
Police say they launched the investigation after receiving a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children hotline.
On March 13, authorities seized his electronic devices.
Escorcia Jr. is charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child.
