Horrific video shows a minivan split in half after crashing into a tractor‑trailer Monday afternoon in Edison.

The crash happened at the intersection of New Durham and Talmadge Roads. Video provided to News 12 by Fresh Mart Edison shows the van quickly approaching the tractor‑trailer as it makes a left turn onto Talmadge Road outside the store.

News 12 has reached out to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office for updates on the driver of the van, the extent of injuries and whether anyone else was inside.

There is no word on injuries to the truck driver or on what caused the crash as the investigation continues.
