The owner of Gottlieb Deli in Williamsburg died overnight from a heart attack, according to a family friend.
Shulem Yoseph Gottlieb was 75 years old.
It's unclear if the date has been rescheduled.
Community members stood outside the deli and mourned the loss of Gottlieb.
The deli remains closed for shiva, a seven-day period of mourning in the Jewish faith.
