FORECAST:
After a frigid start this morning in the single digits and teen, we rebound back into the low 30s for this afternoon under bright skies.
While it will be not as cold as we head into Wednesday, it will be cold enough for some wintry precipitation across northern Fairfield County and Litchfield County.
Some flurries are possible early Wednesday before a steadier light rain/snow mix arrives by lunchtime. A coating to one inch of wet snow is possible for Litchfield County.
Farther south along the Sound, it will be mostly rain showers as temperatures rise into the mid-40s for some. We dry out Thursday with a late weekend storm being watched closely on Sunday! Stay tuned to News12 CT for updates!
