The teen recovering after a stabbing on the 6 train this morning. The 2nd knife attack on the 6 train within the past 48 hours. Good to be with you here on News 2 The Bronx. I'm Nadia Galindo. News 12's Tim Hartman is in Soundview with what we know about both of these events so far. Two victims, two separate attacks, all within two days. The latest involving a 19-year-old man, and police say 3 people are now in custody. This morning's attack happened around 3:30 on a 6 train approaching the St. Lawrence Avenue station. Police say the victim got into an argument with 3 people, and the group stabbed him in. The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital and is expected to be OK. The 2nd 6 train attack happened just before midnight on Thursday at the Zegra Avenue station. That's where police say a 21-year-old man was slashed in the face on the train. That victim is also expected to be OK, but police are still searching for the attacker. One woman we spoke with today says these violent crimes make her emotional because she has a 22-year old son. I think I'm so overwhelmed because of the violence and he talking about young people, um, that's resulting to violence. I can only imagine what's the underlying root cause of what what caused that interaction. So far police have not released the names or ages of the three people responsible for the stabbing, as we're told charges are still pending in Soundview, Tim Hartman, News 12, the Bronx.
