A $500,000 state grant is helping expand the Teatown Lake Reservation in Ossining with new eco-friendly features.
The money will fund geothermally powered education buildings with classrooms, open spaces and a green roofing system.
Some parking lots will also be replaced with native meadows, play areas, rain gardens and walking paths.
