An 18-year-old college student from Greenwich is reportedly among two students who have been charged with a hate crime following an incident at Syracuse University.

Kyle Anderson reportedly drove another student to a traditionally Jewish fraternity house that was having a Rosh Hashanah dinner Tuesday. Authorities say the other person then threw a bag of meat, which was believed to be pork, into the home.

Anderson and the other student are facing disciplinary action under the Student Conduct Code.

Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said the two have been charged with burglary as a hate crime and criminal nuisance. The hate crime change was because the incident happened on a Jewish holiday at a historically Jewish fraternity.
