10h agoA Mount Vernon man accused of shooting a 70-year-old is facing attempted murder charges.
The district attorney says a rival group fired a shotgun at 21-year-old Rodney Solomon last September.
He left to retrieve his own gun, returned to the scene and fired. However, the bullet ultimately struck a bystander in the stomach.
The victim survived the shot, according to authorities.
