- The worst of the heat will be away from the water North and West of Long Island.
- No heat advisory for Long Island and we will not have record heat but parts of Long Island (Northwest Nassau and Northwest Suffolk) could see a heat wave Wednesday through Friday.
- Hot and humid weather early in the season to kick off summer on Thursday.
- Next chance for scattered showers is late Sunday
