A man was stabbed inside a Nesconset pizzeria Sunday afternoon and one person was taken into custody, Suffolk police say.
Ernesto Cordova, who works next door to Gino’s of Nesconset, says the victim was badly injured.
"Me and my co-workers came out and applied pressure to his wounds and tried to keep him alive until the ambulance arrived," explained Cordova.
Authorities have not yet detailed what led up to the attack. Police say the victim and the man arrested were known to each other.
The victim was taken to a hospital where his condition was not released.
